Grey Matter (2) – Cortical lesions and atrophy associated with cognitive impairment in RRMS

In this study the investigators were able to relate cortical or grey matter lesions and tissue loss or atrophy to cognitive impairment in patients with RRMS.

“This study adds to the growing body of evidence that grey matter involvement in MS is important and contributes to the burden of the disease. The newer DMTs appear to have some impact in these processes.”
