Here is a reminder to book your place on next week’s preventive neurology discussion: your chance to influence the direction of research taken by the Preventive Neurology group. Here are the details if you missed the last post:
The Preventive Neurology Unit are hosting an afternoon of informal conversations on the 30th April with people who have a particular interest in MS, Parkinson’s disease and dementia. This is not only for people with these conditions – we are also interested in hearing from people with a personal connection to these diseases. We’re also interested in finding out your views on preventive medical strategies in general.
If you are interested in taking part in this afternoon then please register here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/ppi-engagement-afternoon-tickets-58265080424
There’ll be a short introduction to the Unit, followed by group conversations for each different disease, finishing with a general discussion for everyone. The whole event should last around an hour and a half, and we’ll be providing tea and coffee.
1.45pm: Arrival, refreshments and registration
2.15pm: Disease-specific discussions. Please let us know when you register which group you’d like to join.
3pm: General discussion
