It’s officially over! Prof G and Dr Ruth, paired-up this afternoon for a socially-distanced 5-km walk around Brockwell Park in South London. This officially completes Prof G’s ‘Bed to 5-km Challenge’ to help raise money for Dr Ruth’s and Dr Angray’s COVID-19 antibody study.

The good news is that the Barts-MS team through ‘Prof G’s virtual NYC marathon run’, his ‘Bed to 5-km challenge’, ‘Kit’s Splash on 10 Cornish Beaches’ and the Government’s contribution via Giftaid have successfully raised £25,000.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the 503 people who supported our fund-raising efforts. Without your support, this study would not have seen the light of day.
If there are any people reading this who are still willing to make a late donation you can do so via any of the three links below.
We at Barts-MS would like to take this opportunity to wish you a Happy New Year and we will keep you posted on how our COVID-19 antibody study progresses.
Well done, Professor G. Glad to hear you are so much better and really pleased the study can go ahead. Win-win!
Congratulations and a big thank you to the Barts blog community for supporting these initiatives.
Fingers crossed, the individuals who donated will be given the opportunity to participate in the antibody study…..including those residing in the U.S.
👏👏👏
Well done, hope your recovery continues to go well.

Is it safe for people with MS take the COVID vaccine?
Thank you
There is no evidence it is unsafe….so take it unless told otherwise. A number of people with MS have had the COVID vaccine and a visitor to the Blog was quite possibly the Worlds first since approved
