Survey on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on people’s health and quality of life

Has the COVID-19 pandemic affected your health and quality of life? If so, please consider taking part in this survey that we are involved in.

Professor Carol Rivas at UCL is currently leading an 18-month UK study on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on people’s health and quality of life. The Coronavirus Chronic Conditions and Disabilities Awareness Study (CICADA, https://bit.ly/3iRyJzl) is funded by the National Institute for Health Research.

Informed by first-hand experiences, its aim is to develop simple strategies, recommendations and easily adopted actions to improve future experiences, health and wellbeing outcomes, especially for those with chronic health conditions and who are from minoritised ethnic groups.

Please could you take part in our survey and share widely if you think others would be interested. The survey should take around 20 minutes to complete and there is a prize draw:

• If you have chronic conditions/consider yourself disabled or take care of someone with chronic conditions/who is disabled, please click here: https://bit.ly/2UuIAly.
• If you have no chronic conditions and are not disabled, your perspective will also be very helpful, so please click here: https://bit.ly/3smyjUS.

If you have a chronic condition/live with disability and are a first or second generation migrant you may also be eligible for interview – for which we pay £20: contact us at ioe.cicada.study@ucl.ac.uk
